Sky Mangin

Sky is currently interning for the Thai Community Development Center and is part of the founding committee of the Slavery Eradication and RIghts Integration (SERI) Project. She interned for the United Nations’ Department of Economic and Social Affairs in New York this semester as part of Occidental College’s Diplomacy and World Affairs Program. She is currently a senior majoring in Politics and is interested in sustainable development, countries emerging from conflict and emergencies, education, and race relations. She hails originally from a rural rice farm in Thailand but grew up in Los Angeles since she was seven. In her free time, she enjoys making the most of her time with her family and friends but just can’t seem to get rid of the itch to travel!
