Hi y’all! I’m Dara, and I’m so excited to join you all as one of your Global Scholar Facilitators this summer. I was a Global Scholar myself five summers ago and worked as a facilitator last year, so I am really familiar with the program and really excited to learn and grow with you all as we discuss important global issues. I am currently a rising junior at Yale University in Connecticut, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Biodiversity and Conservation.

At Yale, I am a Master Class leader for Yale Fashion House and a soprano in Yale Out of the Blue Acapella! I am also a Science Tour Guide for the Admissions Office. Finally, I am involved with the Environmentalist magazine on campus. I spent this past year on a gap year, interning for Reef Environmental Education Foundation in Key Largo, Florida and interning for the Student Conservation Association and working with the US Forest Service all over California! I love to sew my own clothes and am a MASTER at thrift flipping and finding unique items without hurting the planet!
