Dione Peart

Dione Peart is originally from New York where she spent 6 years as an elementary school teacher in the NYC Public School System. She joined the Peace Corps in 2013 and served as an English teacher trainer in Manhiça, Mozambique. After extending for a 3rd year, Dione COSed in November 2016 and decided to remain in Mozambique. She opened the company DP English Language Education & Consulting LDA in 2017 and began work as its general manager, director and education consultant. She has been living and working in Mozambique for the past 4 years; consulting for projects funded by UNESCO, UNICEF and SAVE the Children as an education consultant with a focus on childhood literacy development, teacher training, educational strategic planning and gender. Her superpower is her empathetic nature and ability to translate all those feelings into dance moves.
