Keara Sternberg

Coordinator, Global Scholar: COVID-19 Edition

Currently residing in Vermont, Keara Sternberg is an alumna of the Global Scholar program (class of 2013), Skidmore College and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. While working in higher education and student affairs, she finds her passion working closely with students, staff, faculty and community members to facilitate critical dialogues about identity, intersectionality, power, privilege, radical love and radical healing. In her praxis, she strives to co-create spaces of mutual accountability and learning—choosing to lead from a “heart space” while cultivating a strong sense of emotional intelligence in peers. Keara is a self-described “adoptivist” who is passionate about using photography to disrupt hegemonic representations of people, power and places. In her spare time, she enjoys sharing space with folx who appreciate food, music, critical introspection and cultivating joy.
