Americans for Informed Democracy/AMP Global Youth is seeking a dynamic alum who’s an easy communicator and comfortable in front of the camera for our newest assignment: the Street Team!
Street Team members play an important role creating content for our newest project: Frequencies. The Street Team identifies, conducts and publishes video interviews with students, change makers, and interesting people on topics related to each of our monthly themes. For example, interviewing an interfaith leader for their impressions on empathy, or an entrepreneur for their tips on collaboration.
Topics are decided by the AMP project team on a monthly basis. The Street Team is responsible for going out and gathering short video interviews to advance the conversation. Specific responsibilities include:
- Working with the Frequencies Project Team to identify story ideas, based off the monthly Frequency.
- Brainstorming, proposing and lining up a thoughtful speaker to interview.
- Conducting the interview (5-7 minutes max, recorded in one shot on Facebook Live)
- Helping promote the interview online and to AMP networks.
This is a fun experience for an individual interested in global affairs and youth leadership as well as the unique opportunity to demonstrate highly marketable skills on their resume.
Street Team members are paid, and will usually commit to two videos/semester, for as long as they choose to continue. They must provide and use their own equipment to record and share content.
How To Apply
