Our hearts are broken by the attack in Pittsburgh this week, as well as by the shootings in Kentucky near the First Baptist Church. Our hearts are with everyone affected by these heinous acts.
We stand up against hatred, discrimination and oppression in all forms. We believe in a world where what we want to practice, observe, and believe is accepted and allowed.
AMP was founded after 9/11 to mobilize young people to speak out for a more just and inclusive world. Over 15 years later, we are reminded that we have much more work to do.
Youth are the light that can chase out the dark in this world, and build a nation and world where we celebrate diversity and cherish our differences. We know that we are stronger together. And we will not rest until everyone can be, worship and love however and whoever they choose.
